Privacy without the fog.

This policy explains what Traid collects, why it is used, and the choices you have when you join the waitlist, use a referral link, create an account, or use the product.

Effective August 9, 2026 · Traid / Traidence

Information we collect

Traid collects information you provide directly and limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

  • Account and authentication information: information associated with sign-in methods such as Google or phone authentication, including account identifiers and a verified phone number when you use phone verification.
  • Waitlist information: first name, email, verified phone number, broker-account completion state, and optional main-market and trading-experience selections.
  • Product information: preferences, settings, forecast history or calibration records associated with your use of Traid where those features are enabled.
  • Technical information: basic device, browser, network, diagnostic, security and request information generated when the site or its service providers operate the product.
  • Referral and attribution information: referral code, source, referrer, and campaign parameters such as UTM values when you arrive through a referral or tagged link.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, operate the product, maintain waitlist integrity, provide requested communications, secure the service, attribute referrals, diagnose failures, understand product demand, and improve Traid.

Trading forecasts are analytical product output. Personal information is not used to promise or imply trading performance.

Referral links and tracking

If you arrive through a Traid referral link and later complete the verified waitlist signup, Traid can associate that signup with the referring user's referral code.

A signed-up user who owns the referral link can see the number of completed waitlist signups attributed to that link and a limited recent-signup view containing the referred person's first name, waitlist status, and signup date. Traid does not expose the referred person's email address, phone number, authentication identifiers, or brokerage information in the referral dashboard.

Referral ownership, attribution records, and counts are stored in server-managed Firebase records that are not directly readable or writable by browser clients.

Service providers and disclosure

Traid may share information with vendors that provide infrastructure necessary to run the service, including hosting, database, authentication, messaging, security and related technical services. Firebase and other Google services are part of the current authentication, hosting and data stack.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or the service, investigate abuse, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Traid does not sell personal information for money. If the product's data practices materially change, this policy will be updated before the new practice is represented here.

SMS, phone verification and email

Phone-verification messages are transactional and are used to confirm that a waitlist or account phone number belongs to you. Receiving a verification code does not by itself enroll you in marketing texts.

Completing the waitlist asks Traid to use the submitted email address for early-access or product notices. You can unsubscribe from marketing email. Transactional or security communications may still be sent when necessary to provide a feature you request.

Storage, cookies and retention

Traid can use browser storage, cookies or similar technologies for essential functions such as authentication persistence, referral attribution, theme preferences, security and product settings. Protected chart access uses a secure HttpOnly session cookie after Firebase confirms an approved early-access account.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to maintain security and records, or to meet legal obligations. Retention periods can differ by data type and product state.

Your choices

You can choose whether to complete optional trading-profile fields and can change browser permissions or clear local browser storage using your browser controls. Clearing browser storage can remove locally retained referral attribution or preferences before signup.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to identity verification and any information Traid must retain for security, fraud prevention, legal or operational reasons.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including Firebase authentication, restrictive Firestore rules, server-managed access grants and referral records, secure session cookies, protected Hosting routes, security headers, rate limits, and deployment checks. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Traid is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. Trading and leveraged financial products may also be subject to age and eligibility restrictions imposed by brokers or applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
